Data Request Form

Please complete this form to request institutional student data.

Prior to submitting a request, please review the information available on the IRA dashboards. If the information desired cannot be found on the dashboards, then please complete the data request form below.

Requests are only accepted from staff and faculty at Howard University. 

The data request form cannot accept attachments so please send the grant application confirmation to IR@howard.edu.


Data requests handled by the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment - Student data as it relates to student outcomes:

  1. Enrollment (official census data)*
  2. Retention, graduation rates, transfer rates, and attrition rates
  3. Cumulative and term GPAs at the program level
  4. Number of completions (as reported to IPEDS)
  5. Incoming Student Class Profiles


The time to receive data depends on the complexity of the request and availability of our staff. The expected turnaround is within 2-3 business days. Please give us as much advanced notice as possible if you are working with a deadline. A meeting may be requested to further discuss the detail of the data request.
