Dashboard at Cabinet Level

Access to Cabinet-level dashboards will only be granted to current Cabinet members.

Academic Profile

The Academic Profile is a data package provided by the IRA for use in the preparation of the Office of the Provost Annual Report. It shares with departments of student application, admission, enrollment, retention, and graduation data at the program level as well as at the school level over the academic years.

IRA follows IPEDS terminology for retention and graduation rate calculation. Retention rates measure the percentage of first-time undergraduate or graduate students who return to the same program the following fall, and graduation rates measure the percentage of first-time undergraduate or graduate students who attained a degree in the same program within a specified period of time. This report tracks 4 to 6-year graduation rates for first-time undergraduate students and 2 to 7-year graduation rates for first-time graduate students, depending on the program length. Professional students are included in the graduate student population.

The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS)

IPEDS is the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System. It is a system of interrelated surveys conducted annually by the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). IPEDS gathers information from every college, university, and technical and vocational institution that participates in the federal student financial aid programs. The Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended, requires that institutions that participate in federal student aid programs report data on enrollments, program completions, graduation rates, faculty and staff, finances, institutional prices, and student financial aid.
