Middle States Self Study Updated | September 2020

Dear Howard University Community,

As you may recall, our original Middle States (MSCHE) re-accreditation visit scheduled for Spring, 2020, was postponed secondary to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our visit, which will be virtual, has now been rescheduled for October 27-29, 2020. We are awaiting confirmation of the schedule agenda from the site visit Chair, Dr. Shirley Ann Jackson, President of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). Once the agenda is finalized, we will share with the campus community.

Please find attached a link to the Howard University self study that was submitted to MSCHE in March, 2020 and distributed to the campus community previously. Please also find the link to a summary update of activities that have occurred at the University following the submission of the self study, largely focused on the University’s responses to the COVID-19 pandemic.
